If you love the look and ambiance of candlelight yet are concerned about the safety of an open flame, the Plateau Collection is for you. These fixtures use a heavy glass diffuser that has been designed to look like a candle that when lit, reproduces the look of a candle dripping wax with uncanny results. Also notice that the candles come in varying heights and diameters to more accurately replicate real wax candles. The candle diffusers are made from beige glass to ensure the warm, candle-like glow. Our original Olde Bronze finish offers a fine antique contrast in color while keeping the inviting feel of the Plateau Collection in tact. This large Plateau fixture features 20-lights that employ 60-watt (max.) bulbs with 2 downlights that use 40-watt, R-14 (max.) bulbs. It measures 28" in diameter with a 17" body height and comes complete with 52" of extra lead wire and 6 feet of chain. This fixture must be supported independently of the outlet box unless the outlet box is UL listed for the weight to be supported.
