Just make sure to set up your return within 7 days of your product(s) delivery date, complete the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form, await the issued RMA number, and send the product back un-installed and in the original packaging, and you will get a store credit or refund, with the terms below:
To receive a store credit (less shipping costs and a 10% re-stocking fee), or refund (less shipping costs and a 25% re-stocking fee), please make sure of the following:
Need to setup a return? Please log-in to your online Account and click Order History > View Order > Add New RMA. Once on the Return Merchandise Authorization page, please complete the form and select your reason for return and choose a method of credit. You may also Contact Us if you have any questions or concerns. Please note that there is only a 7 day return period from the time the merchandise is received to set up your return. If you are unable to complete this form, this means the return period has expired and you are not eligible for creating a return or exchange.
- All returned merchandise must be in resalable condition
- The product must be free from scratches and/or defects
- All merchandise cannot have been installed or assembled
- You must have the original box(es) and packaging for the item
- Returned merchandise was not a sale, clearance, closeout, of final sale product. For more information, please see "Exceptions" below.
- Merchandise may not be returned with missing parts or components
- There cannot be any writing or labels on the packaging for the item
We are not responsible for any labor costs, which occur as the result of the installation of wrong or defective parts. In addition we are not responsible for lost or damaged shipments received back from shipper. You must file a lost or damaged shipment freight claim with the respective shipper.
Returns Via Mail
Follow the simple directions below to make your return by mail:
- Contact our returns department by telephone or web interface to process your return and receive an RMA (return merchandise authorization) number. Once you have set up your return by phone or online, you will be e-mailed an RMA number within 7 business days. Along with this return number you will receive a ship-to address where you must send your merchandise to. Be sure to include your RMA number with your merchandise. This number will be used to guarantee you receive the credit you selected. Note: If you return a product to us without an RMA number, your returned package will be refused and returned to sender.
- Include all original packing materials, manuals and accessories with the product to avoid additional deductions from your credit. It is recommended to return products in an outer protective box to ensure protection of original packaging materials.
- We recommend items be returned via UPS or FedEx for proof of delivery. Please be certain that items are secure in their packaging so damage does not occur while they are in transit back to our warehouse.
- You are responsible for all freight charges and duties/taxes for applicable out-of-country residents shipping into the US.
- Items received past the return period plus reasonable shipping time may not be processed. Only items purchased from WeGotLites.com are eligible for return credit. Returned items must be shipped in the original product packaging. Notification will be sent to the e-mail or by phone to the number you provide on your account should your return not be accepted. Items will be resent to you upon receipt of your payment of freight charges. Items will be deemed abandoned if we are not contacted within 30 days.
We will notify you via e-mail of your credit of choice once we have received and processed the returned item(s).
We will do our best to process the return quickly. Please allow 14-21 days for processing. Refunds (if you select this method) will be credited less shipping costs and a 25% re-stocking fee to the original purchasing credit card account number only. If you selected a store credit as your method of return, your store credit code will be emailed to you with instructions for use. Please note: Because we ship to the continental US states for free on thousands of our products, returns are subject to a return shipping fee which will be deducted from your store credit or refund. This also applies to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and other international orders processing returns. This fee will be determined at the time your RMA form will be mailed to you, so you will know your exact store credit or refund details ahead of time. If you paid by check please allow an additional 14-21 days for delivery of check via USPS.

- Clearance, Closeout, Special Order, Custom Made-To-Order products, and Deal Of The Day item(s) do not qualify for returns or exchanges are considered final sale.
- Any order containing a discount of any kind, including a promotional sale, or promotional coupon code will be considered final sale and do not do not qualify for returns or exchanges.
- Returns and Exchanges can only be made within 7 days of receiving your product(s).
- Aladdin Light Lift, Inc. items are non-returnable. This includes all Aladdin Light Lifts, Aladdin Light Lifts with Remote Options and/or Pulleys, Aladdin Light Lift Parts & Accessories. All sales from this brand are final. No exceptions will be allowed for a return or exchange for credit for any product purchased from the Aladdin Light Lift, Inc. brand.
- Replacement, spare parts, and accessories purchased or provided are not eligible for returns/exchanges.
- Accessories (remote controls, parts, crystal prisms, etc.) are not eligible to be returned or exchanged. These items are considered final sale.
- Some products or accessories found in our Home Decor section may not be returned or exchanged and considered a final sale purchase. This includes (but not limited to): Bookends, Bottles, Canisters, Decorative Boxes, Bowls, Trays, Decorative Plates, Door Chimes, Figurines, Shelves, Vases, Urns, and other miscellaneous accessories.
- Returns or exchanges are not accepted on any order containing the use of a Store Credit. Any orders with the use of a Store Credit will be considered final sale and not eligible for credit for a return or exchange.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns of a large number of items (as determined at our discretion), and the credit of the like manner of purchase or merchandise credit for such items, even if return is initiated within time-frame.
- All returns must be over $50 in total value. Any return for less than this total amount may not be permitted.
- Some items WeGotLites.com sells are not available in our web catalog but can be purchased over the phone. If you purchase a special order items online or by contacting or calling our toll-free number it will not be returnable. If the item is defective or damaged and claimed within 7 days from delivery date, we will send you replacement parts to cover any damages or defects, or replacement the product if it’s still available for purchase. Please call our customer service number if you are uncertain about any part of this return policy or if you have unanswered questions.
- WeGotLites Inc. will not be held accountable for any additional fees a customer might incur during a return transaction, such as: brokerage/customs fees, taxes, duties, trucking company delivery fees, electrician reschedule fees, or back-charge fees due to wrongful disputes.
Return Policy for Special Orders:
Any order containing a discount of any kind, including a promotional sale/discount, "Deal of the Day", etc. will be considered FINAL SALE. Sale, discounted, closeout, clearance, custom-made or modified items are also considered final sale and under no circumstance can be returned for store credit. Any order that has been rushed or expedited is considered a FINAL SALE and can not be canceled, modified, or returned. Any product online which indicates it is "made to order" are not eligible for any type of return or exchange. Products not available on the website, including orders with customized price quotes and/or orders with special discounted items purchased with a promotional code are not eligible for returns/exchanges. Aladdin Light Lift, Inc. items are non-returnable. This includes all Aladdin Light Lifts, Aladdin Light Lift Parts & Accessories. Replacement and/or spare parts purchased (including crystal prisms) are not eligible for returns/exchanges.
Please inspect shipments immediately upon receipt. Many of our products are fragile and may sustain
damage during shipping, even if the carton appears to be in good condition. If the merchandise has
been damaged during shipment, be sure to notify the office of WeGotLites no later than 7 days upon
receiving the item, allowing proper time to file a claim through the carrier. A claim will be filed with the
carrier to credit your account for the damaged fixture(s), which we will replace at no cost. If the
damaged product is repairable with replacement parts, these parts will be shipped at no cost.
WeGotLites.com will not be responsible for expedited shipping of any replacement parts or products. If
you would like to return the damaged product with no replacement, the return will be subject to our
standard return policy.
